Human detection using laser rangefinder
Němeček, Jakub ; Selingerová, Simona (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describe dynamic obstacle detection and move tracking. Detection is based on laser rangefinder data. Tracking is based on compare two scans. Algorithm of localization method is processed in Matlab. In Matlab is also made simulation of scanned data. Filter parameters are tested and optimalized on this data.
Contactless Fault Indicator for MV Lines
Pernica, Drahomír ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Mišák,, Stanislav (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The theoretical findings about methods of earth faults indication are elaborated in this thesis into form, which is applicable to design contactless indicator of failure states on MV lines. This design contains electromagnetic field sensors, evaluation device and software support. The higher effectiveness of clearing of fault and better health and asset protection is supposed by using of these indicators.

This diploma is focused on analyse existing method usable for detection surface defects of grindling surface. Also suggests and practically testing new method for detection surface defects of grindling surface
Molecular detection of cercarial dermatitis causative agents
Procházka, Jan ; Leontovyč, Roman (advisor) ; Baláž, Vojtech (referee)
Human cercarial dermatitis (CD), also called Swimmer's itch appears as a skin rash caused by skin penetration by larval stages of avian schistosomes. In the Czech Republic, the most common causative agens is genus Trichobilharzia. Since 2021, monitoring of CD is a part of a mandatory testing of bathing water quality. The official method used for CD detection is collecting and examination of aquatic snails under a light source. However, this method has many disadvantages, such as time demands, low sensitivity and difficult parasite determination. These disadvantages can be overcome by usage of alternative approaches, such as molecular methods based on environmental DNA (eDNA) filtration and isothermal amplification. Hence, the main goal of this thesis was development of molecular method based on eDNA filtration and cLAMP isothermal amplification for detection of CD causative agent in water. Based on molecular analysis a conserved region of target DNA was selected to create a cLAMP assay specific for genus Trichobilharzia. The cLAMP assay was confirmed to specifically amplify the DNA of at least four species of the genus Trichobilharzia. The laboratory experiments showed a sufficient sensitivity of cLAMP assay for eDNA detection, based on DNA dilution series and cercariae filtration from water. The...
Leakage measurement for hydrogen gases
Spáčil, Petr ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Šnajdárek, Ladislav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the measurement of hydrogen gas leaks and addresses key aspects related to hydrogen properties, storage, use, safety aspects, detection methods and seal testing. The study highlights the importance of safety in handling hydrogen and includes a thorough analysis of its properties. It discusses different methods of measuring hydrogen concentration and detecting leaks and assesses the suitability of different gasket materials such as polyester, elastomer, steel and graphite for use with hydrogen. Furthermore, the thesis presents experimental investigations into leakage testing. The findings of the study assist in the selection of the right gaskets and improve understanding of leak measurement techniques, which in turn improves the safety and efficiency of hydrogen applications.
Internal audit of banks and its function during detection of fraudulent actions
Kalousková, Lenka ; Staniek, Dušan (advisor) ; Witzany, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of internal audit in bank and his function during the detection of fraud schemes. Firstly, there is a summary of audit evolution in the world and Czech republic then the thesis defines general concept of audit and its parts such as internal and external audits and their relation. Within internal audit there is explained its principle, characteristic of internal auditor and integration into the organizational structure. The process of internal audit in bank is important part of the thesis and all phases and work activities are explained. There are defined types of frauds and their perpetrators in the segment of fraudulent activities. The thesis highlights the position of internal audit amongst several kinds of detection methods. This final finding is supported by two real cases that are analyzed from the perspective of internal audit.

Estrogens in surface waters - sources, concentration, detection
Maršálek, Blahoslav ; Sadílek, Jan ; Maršálková, Eliška ; Endo, Valentina ; Godoy Alonso, Paula
Estrogenity in the surface water become to be a topic, where the orientation for not educated people should be difficult. At first, estrogens in the surface water cannot be substituted by the expressionenndocrine disrupting compounds (ED) what is more wide term (including estrogenity and e.g. androgenity). Compounds with estrogenic activity detected in surface waters are not only the contraceptive pills as is somewhere simplified, but it is a wide spectrum of compounds like PCB, heavy metals, pharmacs, pesticides etc. Moreover – estrogenic activity display also naturally synthetized compounds by plants (phytoestrogens), fungi (mycoestrogens), or by algae and cyanobacteria (phycoestrogens). These compounds are not analysed in the surface water yet. Exception is some rare analyses of phytoestrogens, we presume, that phycoestrogens can be produced in aquatic ecosystem in ecotoxicologically relevant concentrations. Estrogens can be detected in the water, sediments or in the aquatic biota by instrumental analyses (LC-MS/MS), or by ELISA, or e.g. by bioassays, which can detect also so called potential estrogens ( are able to bind to some of estrogen receptors, but effects in vivo were not proved yet). In the case of the comparison, or the interpretation of results from different sources we must consider the used detection method. Instrumental analyses are dedicated to selected compounds.. Bioassays represent the sum of compounds with (with proved, or potential) estrogenic activity. That is why we strongly recommend to pay an attention on the methods of sampling and analyse in the case of interpretation and comparison of estrogenity results from different resources. In the case of literature data usingincomparable methods or high detection limit we recommend the high carefulness. Where it is possible we recommend the combination of instrumental analyse with in vitro bioassays for detection of estrogenity in surface waters.
